The Element called Water Town villas in Soustons are perfect for you if you appreciate a certain level of comfort, are self sufficient, want to spend a cool time surfing, meet new people or simply party.
Timing:
The Element Called Water Town Villa in Soustons is available from the 3rd of July till the 3rd of September 2010.
Location:
Our Town Villas are located on a 2000 m2 plot of land in Soustons, between Hossegor and Vieux-Boucau. You’re just a few minutes per foot away from the city center or the nearby ocean. The nearest beach is only 6 km away and the famous breaks like Les Casernes, Les Bourdaines and Les Estagnots are all easily reachable with a car. Thanks to the location, just off of the Tourist Mile, we can do as we please, as we won’t have any stressed neighbors. That said, with a short trip, we can be in the middle of all happenings.
Housing:
The Surf camp is comprised of 2 modern villas with all the accompanying comforts. Both villas have 4 rooms each, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a large, open lounge. You’ll stay in 1 of the 8, cozy rooms (2 or 4 prs). The highlight is definitely the pool located between the villas, which offers the necessary, cool escape during the hot summer days. And the best way to chill is with an ice-cold beer in your hands while sitting on the veranda. With a maximum capacity of only 28 guests, you will definitely not feel overwhelmed with tourists.
Food:
We’ll serve you a full breakfast buffet daily to ensure you are strong and ready to hit the waves. And we’ll invite you 3 times a week to either a BBQ, Pizza or other meal. Of course you use our Kitchen, Grill and Fridge as you please. The city of Soustons provides you with plenty of great restaurants to try out the local specialties.
Entertainment:
Besides surfing, surfing and more surfing, the lounge is a great place to watch a movie, play a round of poker or Foosball, or grab a drink at the bar. The city also offers a place to hang out, rock out at the skate park or rent a bike. Hop into a car and you can add Go-karting, paintball, bowling or shopping at the Factory Outlet stores to your list of activities. And if you feel like partying there’s always Hossegor, Vieux-Boucau or Moliets.
Equipment:
Depending on Deal, you can choose from our Surfboard selection. We’ve got short and long boards. Of course, you can always bring your own board. Of course we’ll get you set up with a wetsuit if you need one.
Surfing:
The surrounding Surf spots are ideal for both beginner and advanced surfers.We’ve teamed up with the local surf school “Authentique – Ecole de surf”, who manage our courses. Before you paddle out, we’ll give you a solid foundation with Tips and Tricks to manage the surf. The 2 licensed surf instructors from the Surfrider Association France, with their course material, will guarantee that you’ll be catching waves in no time. www.authentique-ecoledesurf.com
Arrival:
Rip Curl Express:
The Rip Curl express has been in action since 2008. The shuttle will pick you up in Bern or Zurich and deliver you to France and back at the ridiculous price of CHF 210.- We’ll pick you up when you arrive and bring you safely to the ECW Surf camp. There’s definitely space for your surfboard, as long as it isn’t longer than 2.1 meters. Be sure to reserve your spot early as “the early bird does get the worm.”

MAKE SURE YOU GIVE US YOUR ARRIVAL TIMES IN ADVANCE, THAT WAY THERE WILL BE NO PROBLEMS WITH YOUR PICK UP.
1.Car: Drive via Geneva-Lyon-Clermont-Ferrand-St. Etienne-Bordeaux, direction Bayonne. Exit Dax, then direction Vieux-Boucau. We recommend this route if you plan to get here on your own.
2.Train: Direct Night train from Geneva to Dax (End station Biarritz). We’ll happily pick you up for a minimal fee of 20 Euro per ride from the Train station in Dax.
3.Plane:Flights to Biarritz Airport. We’ll also happily pick you up at the Airport for a minimal fee of 40 Euro per ride.
